The Player card

Status and "Last seen"

Each player displays a Last Seen timestamp, indicating the last time the device communicated with the Q-Play servers.
A player is shown as offline if it has lots its internet connection is powered off, or is no longer running Q-Play.

What should I do if my player is offline?

  1. Check the power supply. Make sure the display or device is switched on.
  2. Check the internet connection. Ensure the device is connected to the network. If it uses Wi-Fi, check that the network is working and has an internet connection.
  3. Make sure Q-Play is running. If the device is displayning something other than Q-Play, such as another app or an input source like HDMI, start Q-Play again.
  4. Restart the device. Turn it off, wait approximately 30 seconds, and turn it back on.
  5. Check "Last seen". Once the player is back online, the timestamp will update, and its status will change to online.

Player type

A small icon on the card indicates which platform the player runs on, such as Android, Windows, LG, Samsung, or Web.

Here you can configure when the player's display is switched on:
