This guide walks you through, step-by-step, how to upload a PDF file and use its pages as images in your presentations on the NordicScreen platform.
Open the Media Library:
Log into your NordicScreen platform.
Navigate to the Media Library.
Upload the PDF Document:
Click Upload and select your PDF file from your computer.
Once the upload is complete, a small icon labeled PDF will appear.
Note: When the PDF file is uploaded, each page is automatically converted into separate image files (.jpg or .png) and saved inside a new folder named after the PDF.
Open the Design Tool:
Open the presentation you want to work on.
Click on Design Tool.
Add PDF Pages as Images:
Click on Browse within the design tool.
Locate the folder containing the converted PDF pages.
Select the page (image file) you want to insert.
The image will now be displayed in full screen.
Tip: This is a quick shortcut to displaying PDF documents directly on your info screens.
Create a New Playlist:
Go to the Playlist section.
Click Create and name the playlist, e.g., PDF.
Add PDF Pages to the Playlist:
Insert the first PDF page as an image in the playlist.
Set it to Full Screen.
Set the transition time between slides (e.g., every 5 seconds).
Add More Pages:
Repeat the process for page 2, page 3, etc., and add them all to the playlist.
Save Your New Playlist.
Add Playlist to the Presentation:
Go back to your main presentation.
Click on Presentation → Add Element.
Choose the newly created PDF Playlist.
The playlist will now appear on the screen and automatically switch slides every 5 seconds.
