Introduction

Integrating a playlist into a design in Q-Play can enrich your visual content and create a dynamic, engaging experience for your viewers. Whether you want to showcase products, share news, or create a lively atmosphere, a playlist is an effective way to deliver varied and interesting content. This guide will walk you through the process of easily adding a playlist to your design in Q-Play.

Note: Before you can add a playlist to your design, you must first create a playlist. If you have not created one yet, follow this guide: How to Create a Playlist in Q-Play.

Step-by-step guide

1. Find the Playlist app

Locate the Playlist-app in the App Library. Click the app to begin the setup. 



2. Add a Playlist

With the Playlist-app selected (click the app on the slide to select it), you can add a playlist to your presentation. In the panel on the right, click "Add Playlist". 


3. Select a Playlist

Select the playlist you want to add to your presentation and click "Add Playlist". 
You can add multiple playlists to the same presentation by selecting more than one playlist before clicking "Add Playlist". 
The selected playlist(s) will then be added to your presentation. 


4. Publish the presentation 

Once the playlist has been added, you can view it directly in the presentation. Click "Publish" to publish your presentation.

Problem: The playlist isn’t showing in the design.
Solution: Check that the playlist has been correctly added and saved in your design. Refresh the design editor and ensure you’ve selected the correct playlist.

Problem: I can’t find the Playlist App in the apps list.
Solution: Make sure you’re in the correct section of the app library. If it still doesn’t appear, try reloading the page or checking if your Q-Play account has access to the Playlist App.

Problem: The changes aren’t being published.
Solution: Ensure you’ve clicked “Publish” after making your changes. Also, check your internet connection, as this can affect the publishing process.
