How to create/use Q-Cal Templates for Q-Play Template solution

How to create a Q-Cal Screen Design.

If you want to add a dynamic element to your Q-Play template, we can create a relevant template in Q-Cal. Then we also showcase how the two systems work together.

  1. Sign in to Q-Cal.

  2. Click on Design

  3. Choose a display type

  4. Pick a design.

  5. Configure the design

  6. Name it.

  7. Save.

You can the now find the design under Main Menu > Screen Designs. Here you can customize the design, such as making changes to the HTML and the CSS, or change the colors.


How to show the Q-Cal SignageView in Q-Play.

  1. Click on Views, and then select SignageViews.

  2. Click the "+".

  3. Here you'll need to select the design you made, name the SignageView and give it a description. When done press Save & Close.

  4. The SignageView is now created, and is visible under SignageViews.

  5. Copy the Q-Play code and enter it in the booking app in Q-Play
