How to Display PowerPoint Slides as a GIF in Q-Play

Welcome to our step-by-step guide on how to transform your PowerPoint presentation into an animated GIF and then display it in Q-Play. This guide is designed to make the process simple and straightforward for everyone, regardless of technical expertise. By following these instructions, you'll be able to share your presentation in a dynamic and engaging way through Q-Play's platform.

Note:
  1. This guide is only supported in Q-Play V2 and not in Q-Play V1.

Part 1: Export Your PowerPoint Presentation as an Animated GIF

Begin by opening the PowerPoint presentation you wish to export.
1. Navigate to "File" in the menu and select "Export."


2. In the dialog box that opens, name your presentation and choose "Animated GIF" as the file format.


3. Specify how many seconds to wait between each slide, and click "Export."



Part 2: Upload and Display Your Animated GIF in Q-Play

4. Inside Q-Play, click on "Media Library."


5. Choose "Drag & Drop your files here or browse" find and select your animated GIF file.


6. Once the file is uploaded to the media library, open "DesignTool."


7. Select an existing presentation or create a new one within Q-Play.


8. Click on the "Image" app under "Apps."


9. On the right side, click on "Drag & Drop image here or browse" to add your GIF to the presentation.


11. Select your GIF file and confirm with "Confirm."


12. To ensure that your GIF fills the entire screen, choose "Resize to fullscreen"


13. Finally, click on "Publish" to save and apply your changes. Use the "Preview" function if you wish to preview your presentation before it's displayed on the screen.
