This guide describes how to remove an old UniteConnect app so that the latest version of the Q-Cal Booking app can be installed on the device.
Following this guide will remove all content on the screen. Connection to Q-Cal is subsequently made again.
The wizard is used to reset ProDVX devices with app version up to 2.0. How to find the version of the Q-Cal App
When the device is reset, it will lose all connection to the Q-Cal system. It is therefore recommended to write down the design and Calendar for each device before making this device reset.
This information can be found by going to Views > Meeting Room Displays > and then selecting the device you want to update.
The following information is noted here, which must be used to set up the latest version.
There are two ways to remove the UniteConnectBooking App on the screen.
It recommends using option # 1.
1. Total reset of the device
1. Swipe down from the top right corner until an elongated menu appears on the right side of the screen.
2. Now press the small gear in the menu.
3. Scroll down the page until system can be selected.
4. Now select Reset options.
5. Now select Erase all data (Factory reset) > Then select Reset tablet > Then select Erase Everything
The device will now reboot and is then reset.
2. Remove UniteConnect Booking
1. Swipe down from the top right corner until an elongated menu appears on the right side of the screen.
2. Now press the small gear in the menu.
3. Now select Apps & Notifications.
4. Now select UniteConnectBooking.
5. Now select Home app.
6. Select the Home app item again.
7. Here, select Launcher3 as the home app.
8. Now press back twice until the UNINSTALL button appears on the screen.
9. Press UNINSTALL and then select OK
Now restart the screen by unplugging the device.
After either 1 or 2 have been followed, the device is now ready to have the latest version of the Q-Cal app installed which opens up new and exciting features.
