How to update Windows on your player

This guide will show you how to update your Windows installation, this is important to make sure your player has the newest security, graphics and other essential updates.

1. Connect a keyboard and mouse to your Windows player.

2. Close Q-Play by pressing F4 (FN + F4).

3. In the search bar (magnifying glass), search for "Check for updates", and press this option to open the update window.

4. In the new window, press the button "Check for updates" – even though this button might have a green tick, look at the date when it last checked for updates. Now let Windows download and install all the updates there is.

5. There’s a big chance that you will have to reboot the player – if it’s mentioned in the update window, press "reboot the device".

6. After rebooting, Q-Play will open automatically. You can now remove the keyboard and mouse.
