Introduction
DesignTool in Q-Play allows users to design and organize digital signage content. This tool offers an intuitive interface that enables the creation of professional presentations efficiently. This guide will help you navigate DesignTool, from creating a new presentation to publishing your design.
1.1. Select 'DesignTool' from the sidebar.
2. Creating a new presentation
2.1. Click on 'New Presentation' in the top right corner.
2.2. Enter a name for your presentation in the 'Presentation name' field.
3. Setting presentation details
3.1. Choose size and layout:
a. Select an aspect ratio (e.g., 16:9).
b. Choose resolution: Full HD, 4K, or 8K.
c. Manually specify the desired width and height of the presentation.
3.2. Click on 'Create' to confirm the details and create the layout.
4. Designing the presentation
4.1. Use the toolbar on the left to add elements such as images, videos, text, and other apps to your presentation.
4.2. Drag and drop elements on the workspace to arrange them as desired.
5. Customizing slide settings
5.1. Opening Slide Settings: To adjust the settings for the selected slide, click on 'settings' found in the top toolbar.
5.3. Keyboard Triggers: In this section, you can assign specific keyboard shortcuts that can be used to navigate or activate slides during the presentation.

6. Adding more slides
6.1. Press "+" to add more slides to the design.
7. Preview and publishing
7.1. Click on 'Preview' to view a preview of your presentation.
7.2. Adjust as necessary and then click on 'Publish' to make your presentation available on your chosen digital signs.
