How to use the Countdown Timer app in Q-Play

Introduction

The Countdown Timer app lets you count down or count up to any specific date or event. Whether it’s a birthday, deadline, or special occasion, you can see exactly how much time remains—or how much has passed. You also have full styling control: adjust the size, colors, fonts and much more. This makes it easy to match the timer to your presentations look and feel. Perfect for keeping track of important dates or adding a dynamic, engaging element to your Q-Play presentation!

Step-by-step guide

  1. Start by inserting the Countdown Timer app, either in a new design or an existing one.
  2. Next, go to the Template setting, and select what you want to display.
    1. Either days, hours, minutes, seconds or all of them.

  3. Then in the App Settings, select what language you want to be displayed under the timer. Either Danish or English.
  4. Next type in the date and time (DD-MM-YYYY HH:MM) you want to either count down or up to.
  5. Final step for setting up is to choose if you want the app to count down or up.
  6. Your timer is now set up and ready for either styling, or publishing if you are content with how it looks by default.

Styling

If you want the app to have a different expression, you can also style the app to your liking.
