How to use the Date and Time app in Q-Play
Introduction
With the Date and Time app, you can display the current date and time in your design.
This guide shows you how to add and customize the date and time in your presentation.
Step-by-Step guide
1. Open Presentations
Click "Presentations". Create a new presentation or open the presentation to which you want to add the Date and Time app.
2. Find the Date and Time App
Locate the "Date and Time" app in the app library. Click the app to begin the setup process.
3. Customize the Display
Click "Template Settings" to customize how the date and time are displayed in your design.
- Layout: Choose whether the date and time should be displayed vertically (stacked) or horizontally (side by side).
- What to display: Select what you want to show: time only, date only, combined date and time, time and date, or the full date, time, and weekday.
- Show seconds: Choose whether seconds should be displayed.
- Text color, Time color & Date color: Select the colors for the date, time, and weekday.
- Time Separator: Choose the character used to separate hours and minutes. The default separator is ":".
- Animate Time Separator: Choose whether the separator should blink. If no separator is specified in "Time Separator", the separator will not blink.
- Font family: Select the font used for the date and time.
Click "App Settings" to configure the format, language, and time zone.
- Time Format: Choose between 24-hour and 12-hour time formats (e.g., 24:00 or 12:00 AM/PM).
- Date Style: Choose how the date is displayed: full month name, abbreviated month name, or numeric format (e.g., January, Jan, or 01).
- Language: Select the language used by the app.
- Time Zone: Choose the time zone in which the time should be displayed.
5. Publish the Presentation
Once you have customized the display and selected your preferred format, the changes will be visible immediately in your design. Click "Publish" to publish the presentation.
