How to Use the TV2 Vision App in Q-Play: Setup and Troubleshooting

How to use the TV2 Vision app in Q-Play

Introduction

The TV2 Vision App allows you to display both news and weather from TV2 directly on your screen. Please note that using this app requires a valid TV2 Vision license. If you do not yet have a license, contact NordicScreen’s sales department for more information. This guide will help you set up the TV2 Vision App correctly and ensure that you comply with the license requirements.

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Start by opening Q-Play on your device and finding the “TV2 Vision” app in the app library. Tap on the app to begin the setup process.

2. When the app opens, you will be presented with a license agreement. Tap “Accept” to proceed.
Note: If you press “Accept” without a valid TV2 Vision license, NordicScreen has the right to invoice you for a TV2 Vision license.

3. You will now be prompted to choose whether you want to display both news and weather or just one of them. Make your selection based on what fits your screen and audience best.

4. Once you have selected the content, tap “Publish” to display the chosen content on your screen.

Frequently Asked Questions

Problem: I don’t have a TV2 Vision license, but I want to use the app.
Solution: Contact NordicScreen’s sales department to obtain a TV2 Vision license. Without a license, you cannot legally use the app, and you risk receiving an invoice for the license if you accept the terms without a valid license.

Problem: No news is displayed on the screen.
Solution: TV2 is responsible for providing and updating the news content. NordicScreen has no control over the news. If no news is displayed, it may be because TV2 has not updated the content at the moment. Check again later to see if the news is displayed.

Problem: The content is not updating correctly on the screen.
Solution: Ensure that your device has a stable internet connection. If the problem persists, try refreshing the app or restarting your device.

Problem: Can I use TV2 Vision abroad?
Solution: Yes, you can use TV2 Vision abroad, but note that the news will be in Danish. It still requires a valid license from NordicScreen to use the app.
