Installation guide for - A Display Meeting Room Screen

Introduction

The A Display meeting room screen is an innovative solution for optimizing meeting planning and management of meeting rooms. With an intuitive interface, Q-Cal offers an improvement in efficiency in any work environment.

Notes:

• Read all instructions carefully before you begin.
• Place the screen near a power source and within range of your internet connection.
• Avoid placing the screen in direct sunlight or near heat sources to prevent overheating.

• A Display meeting room screen.
• Power supply.
• Wall mount.

Not included:

• Internet cable (if needed).

Pre-installed meeting room screen

If you purchased the A Display meeting room screen through our partner, the Q-Cal software will already be installed on the screen. However, if it’s a screen you acquired independently, please follow this guide for installing the Q-Cal software.

Recommendation

Placement:

• Choose a location that is easily accessible and visible to all meeting participants.
• Ensure that the screen is mounted at eye level for optimal visibility.
• Place the screen close to the meeting room it represents to avoid confusion.

Internet connection:

Network cable: For the most stable connection, it is recommended to use a network cable. This ensures a constant connection without interruptions.
WIFI: If a wired internet connection is not possible, ensure that your WIFI connection is stable and strong at the screen’s location.

Before installation


A successful installation of the A Display meeting room screen begins with thorough preparation. Before starting the installation process, there are important steps to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Placement:

• Choose a location that is both visible and easily accessible for all users, mounted at eye level, and close to the meeting room it represents.

Internet:

• Decide whether to use a wired connection or WIFI. We recommend a wired connection for stability, but if necessary, ensure a strong WIFI connection.

Other:

• Required hardware, tools, wall mount, etc.

During installation


Once you have prepared everything necessary for your A Display meeting room screen and selected the optimal placement, you are ready to begin the installation process. This section guides you through the necessary steps to get your screen up and running.

1. Power connection: Connect your A Display meeting room screen to the power supply and to an electrical outlet. Ensure the screen turns on.

2. Confirm startup: Shortly after the screen turns on, a pop-up dialog box will appear. Select “Yes Please” to confirm that you want to proceed with the setup.

3. Find Home App: Now press “Home app”.

4. Activate Q-Cal Booking: Within the “Home App,” find and select “Q-Cal Booking” to activate the booking function.

5. Complete setup: Complete the setup by pressing the back button, which is located at the bottom of the screen. This will return you to the Q-Cal app, where you should now be ready to use your meeting room screen.

After installation


When you see a “connect code” on the screen, it’s time to connect your A Display meeting room screen to the system.

Connected

To add a design to the screen, follow these steps:

1. Select “Screens” in the top menu to navigate to the screen overview in Q-Cal.
2. Find and click on “Meeting Room Display” to open the options for meeting room screens.
3. Click on “Add Screen” to start the process of adding a new screen.
4. Enter the 4-digit code displayed on the physical screen in the provided field to pair the screen with the system.
5. After pairing, select the desired design and confirm your choice by pressing “Save & Close.”
