LG Screen does not have acces to the internet

Do you experience that your LG screen can not get internet connection, then it means that the date, time and timezone are not installed correct.
This is important to make sure that the settings for the date, time and timezone are sat correct, this is made easier by following this guide.


- Go to Menu.

- Go hereafter to General > Time & Date

- Install now date, time and timezone correct

- Hereafter you activate the bottom install automatically


Before the screen restarts, it is important to install the timezone correctly. Below you find help to troubleshoot known issues.

Troubleshooting:

Test Date and Time

You can verify you time is set correct by to "General" in settings as verify "Time & Date" to match the current time for your location. (See example image below)

If this looks correct, try to set the "Time & Date" manually to todays date and current time, and then restart the TV.

Test Connectivity:

You can also verify the network does not block access to Q-Play LG release server.

1. Click on the house on the remote.

2. Click on "Play via URL".

3. Toggle to activate "Play via URL" type in the address https://lgupdate.q-play.net/ 
Click preview.

4. If you now see one line of text on a white background containing 404. The network is okay.

5. Click on the back button on remote.


6. Toggle to de-activate "Play via URL" again.
