Introduction:

Follow the steps below to configure scheduling on your meeting room displays. It is important to ensure that all settings are correctly configured for optimal functionality.

1. Set the Display’s Standby Mode:

Ensure that the display automatically goes into standby mode within 15 seconds of inactivity. This allows the screen to be turned off remotely via Q-Cal.

How to do it:

  1. Go to the display settings.
  2. Navigate to the section for power management or standby settings.
  3. Set the display to enter standby mode within 15 seconds of inactivity.

2. Set the App as the Default Home App:

To ensure the app functions properly, configure it as the default home app on the device. This ensures the app starts automatically and remains active without interruption.

How to do it:

  1. Go to the device settings.
  2. Select "Default Apps" or a similar menu depending on the device.
  3. Set the Q-Cal app as the default home app.

3. Grant Access to External Storage:

To ensure scheduling works correctly, the app must be granted access to the device's external storage.

How to do it:

  1. Go to the device settings under "Apps" or "Applications."
  2. Find the Q-Cal app in the list of installed apps.
  3. Grant access to external storage (often referred to as "Storage" or "Permissions").
  4. Restart the app to activate the new settings.

4. Configure Scheduling in Q-Cal:
