Guide to Using Event Management in Q-Play

Welcome to the guide for using Event Management in Q-Play. This guide will walk you through the necessary steps to create and manage events that can be displayed on your screens. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced user, this guide will help ensure that your events run smoothly and appear as intended. Follow the detailed steps below to get started.

Note:

To use Event Management, you first need to create a design with the message you want to display on the screens. If you are unsure how to create a design, follow this guide: Sådan bruger du DesignTool i Q-Play

1. Go to “Event Management” in your Q-Play application.

2. Click on “New Event”.

3. Enter a name for your event.

4. Select when the event should start and when it should end.

5. Click on the date and optionally the time when the event should be active.

6. Click on “Add Presentation”.

7. Choose the design you want to use for the event.

8. Click on “Add presentation” again to confirm.

If your event should run without a schedule, skip directly to step 11.

9. Click on “+” to add a schedule.

10. Set the time for when the event should start and end, as well as which days of the week the event should run.

11. Click on “Save” to save your event.

12. Navigate to the “Players” section.

13. Click on the player you want to attach the event to.

14. Click on “+” under “Events attached”.

15. Click on the event you just created.

16. Click on “Add event”.

17. Your event is now set on the player and will be displayed on the screen on the date and time you have set.
