Kanpla app

Kanpla is a canteen ordering and menu system used by many workplaces. This integration displays your canteen's daily menu directly on your screens, so employees and visitors can see what's on offer at a glance, without needing to check a separate app or device.

This guide covers the Kanpla-specific settings. It assumes you already know the basics of how apps work in Q-Play — see our general app guide if not.

Before you start: this guide also assumes you already have a Kanpla integration set up. If not, see the Kanpla integration guide first.

1. Add the app

Add the Kanpla app to your slide the same way as any other app.

2. Template

Under General, Template only has one option, so there's nothing to choose here.

3. Data sources

• Screenshot: pick which Kanpla integration to pull the menu from — relevant if you have more than one canteen/integration set up. If you only have one integration with one job, this is selected automatically.
• Dagens Ret: pick which specific job/output to use from within the selected integration. Same as above — if there's only one, it's selected automatically.

4. Template settings

Inset Top, Bottom, Left, and Right crop or pad the screenshot image within its frame on the slide — use these if the image needs to sit tighter or looser within the space you've given it.

5. App Settings

Fetch new data every: controls how often the app fetches the latest image from the integration.
