Q-Cal app
To set up Q-Cal on a meeting room display, you need to follow this guide, which describes how to download the Q-Cal file and then insert it into a USB stick.
Placement
- Choose a location that is both visible and easily accessible for all users, mounted at eye level, and near the meeting room it represents.
- Decide whether to use a wired connection or WIFI. We recommend a wired connection for stability, but if necessary, ensure a strong WIFI connection.
- Necessary hardware, tools, wall mounts, etc.
Once you have prepared everything necessary for your QBic meeting room display and selected the optimal location, you are ready to start the installation process. This section guides you through the necessary steps to get your display up and running.
1. Plug the included power supply into the power port on your QBic meeting room display.
2. Find and press the "Settings" icon on the start screen to open the settings menu.
2. Choose "Storage" in the settings to manage storage devices.
3. Press "Apps" to see a list of installed applications.
4. Find and press "Files" to open the file manager.
6. Insert the USB stick containing the Q-Cal file into the USB port on the display.

7. Navigate to the Q-Cal file on the USB stick.

8. Confirm the installation by pressing the "Continue" button.
9. Press "Install" to begin the installation of the Q-Cal app.
10. Once the installation is complete, press "Done" to finish the installation process.
11. Go back to the start screen by pressing the middle button.
12. Find and press the search icon ("magnifying glass") to search for installed apps.
13. Enter "Q-Cal" in the search field and select the app from the results.
14. The Q-Cal app will now start. Wait approximately 20 seconds until the app is fully loaded.
When the Q-Cal app has started, a "connect code" will be displayed on the screen. This code is necessary to connect the display to the system.
