Installation - Q-Play on Iiyama - Android 11
Introduction
This guide will help you install the Q-Play APK file on your Iiyama screen. By following the step-by-step instructions, you will ensure a smooth setup and optimal use of your screen with Q-Play. The guide is divided into three sections: before installation, during installation, and after installation.
Before installation
Before starting the installation, it is important to be well prepared. Follow these steps to ensure you have everything you need:
1. Startup: Make sure your Iiyama screen is turned on and the desired language is selected to continue with the installation.
2. USB Stick: A USB stick is needed to transfer the Q-Play APK file to the Iiyama screen.
3. Network Connection: Decide whether you will connect your Iiyama screen via Wi-Fi or a cable connection. It is recommended to use a cable connection to ensure a stable and secure connection.
4. File: Download the Q-Play APK file by following the section “Installing the Q-Play APK File”.
5. Placement: Choose a location for your Iiyama screen where it is easily visible at eye level, adjusted for optimal angle to avoid glare, and in an environment with controlled temperature and humidity to ensure durability.
6. Updates: Check that the firmware and other updates are up to date on the screen.
Installing the Q-Play APK-file:
1. Open Q-Play Editor on Your PC: Log in with your credentials.
2. Navigate the Menu: In the menu on the left, select “PlayControl/Players”.
3. Inside PlayControl/Players: Click on “New Player” in the top right corner.
4. Download APK: Press the “Download” button next to the Android image to download the APK file.
5. File Transfer: Open “Transfer” on your device and transfer the APK file to your USB stick.
During installation
1. Main Menu: Press the “menu” button on one side of the screen to access the main menu.
2. More: Press “More”.
3. Settings: Press “Settings”.
4. Wi-Fi: Go to “Wireless and Network” and press “Wi-Fi”.
5. Enable Wi-Fi: Find your network, enter the password, and connect to the network.
6. Date and Time: Go to “System” and press “Date and Time”. Fill in the fields as shown in the image.

8. Region: Go back and press “Region”, select “Denmark”.
9. Startup and Shutdown: Scroll down and press “Startup and Shutdown”.
10. Standby After Startup: Turn off “Standby after startup (black screen)”.
11. Energy Saving: Turn off “Enable energy saving”.
12. No Signal Off: Set “No signal off” to “OFF”.
13. Administrator: Go to “Administrator” and press “Set administrator password”, create a code.
14. Security: Press “Security Solutions”.
15. Unknown Sources: Enable “Unknown sources”.
16. Home: Press “Home” and select the USB stick.
17. Q-Play File: Find the Q-Play file and press it.
18. Install: Press “Install”.
19. Open: When the installation is complete, press “Open”.
After installation
When the installation is complete and you see a “connect code” on the screen, you are ready to connect the player to your Q-Play account.
To add a design to the screen, follow these steps:
1. Log in to your Q-Play account where the device should be added.
2. Go to the player section.
3. Enter the 6-digit Connect Code from the screen into Q-Play.
