Installation for Q-Play - X96H


Introduction

Q-Play offers a powerful platform for information screen design, enabling you to engage and inform your audience through visually appealing content. With the Q-Play X96H Player, you can easily manage and present your content on any screen that supports HDMI input.

It's important to have all the necessary equipment ready before you start. This includes:

In the box:

  1. Q-Play X96H Player
  2. Power cable
  3. Remote control
  4. HDMI cable

Not included:

  1. 2xAAA batteries for the remote control
  2. Network cable for wired internet

Recommendation

  1. Optimal Placement: For the best possible performance, it is recommended to place the Q-Play X96H Player on top of or behind the screen to ensure good ventilation.
  2. Access: Ensure easy access to the player to be able to handle any technical issues quickly.

Before Installation


Before installation, it's important to be well-prepared. The following is necessary:
  1. Connection: Using a network cable for a stable connection is recommended, but WIFI is also an option on the device
  2. Q-Play Account: Make sure you have access to your Q-Play account and are ready to add your new player.

During installation

Follow these steps for a smooth installation:

1. Use the provided power cable to power your Q-Play X96H player.
2. Connect the internet cable to the player.
3. Use the provided HDMI cable to connect the player to your screen.
      3.a Ensure the screen is set to display content from the correct HDMI port.
4. The Q-Play software will automatically start up.

If you wish to connect the player to wifi, follow this part:
1. Press OK on the remote control.


2. Enter the pin code to access the control panel. (The pin code is: 8920)


3. In the control panel, click on "Network Settings" at the bottom.


4. Select the desired WIFI network, and enter the password.


5. Restart the Player by turning it off with the remote control, and then starting it again.


6. The screen will now display Q-Play.


After installation

Once you see the connect code on the screen, as shown in the picture below, the solution is ready to be connected to a Q-Play account.


To add a design to the screen, the following steps should be taken:
1. Now log into the Q-Play account where the device is to be added.
2. Go to player.
3. Enter the 6-digit Connect Code from the screen in Q-Play.
