Setup Guide for IOT DIN Relay 1 Phase with WIFI

This guide will assist you in securely and effectively connecting your IOT DIN Relay 1 Phase via WIFI. Please follow these steps carefully to ensure a successful setup.

It is strongly recommended to use a LAN network connection for optimal performance and stability. If you choose to use LAN, it is not necessary to follow this WIFI setup guide.

Requirements:
  1. A computer with WIFI access is necessary for the setup.
  2. Ensure the IOT DIN Relay 1 Phase is securely mounted and inaccessible to unauthorized persons. If in doubt, please contact a professional electrician.
  3. Only a qualified electrician should install the device.

Setup Steps

Step 1: Connect to Power

1. Unpack the IOT DIN Relay 1 Phase.

2. Connect the device to a power source according to the diagram on the side of the device.
      2.1. The device must be connected to power to continue with the setup.

3. The following information will be needed for the setup, these details are found on the label on the device and on the package:

SN: 

Step 2: Connect to the Device's WIFI

1. Place the computer near the powered IOT DIN Relay 1 Phase.

2. Open the WIFI settings on your computer.
      2.1 Connect to the WIFI network ShellyPlusPlugS-"DeviceID" (DeviceID is found on the device and on the package).
            2.2.1 WIFI key: The end of the SN number on your device.
            2.2.2 Note: Each device has its unique network. Ensure that the DeviceID matches the device you wish to set up.

Step 3: Access the Device's Configuration Page

1. Open a web browser and enter 192.168.33.1 in the address bar.
2. A configuration page should now be displayed.
      2.1. Troubleshooting: If the page does not appear, ensure your computer is connected to the correct WIFI network. It may be necessary to "forget" other networks.



Step 4: WIFI Settings

1. Go to "Settings" and then "WIFI"
      1.1. Warning: Avoid changing other settings than WIFI to prevent malfunctions.





Step 5: Select Network and Save Settings

1. Choose the WIFI network you wish to connect the device to.
2. Enter the WIFI key and press Save Settings.
      2.1. Important: Ensure that the network is available at the device's physical location.


3. Once the connection is established, the network name will be displayed next to "Connected At:".

  1. Only change the WIFI settings to avoid disconnection from the NordicScreen system and possible extra charges.
