Show your Ziik Intranet news feed directly in Q-Play

Ziik allows your company to set up a friction-free intranet for your internal communication. Q-Play provides the perfect way to display it on your screens, all around the world. In this guide we'll go over how to set up your Ziik integration in Q-Play, and display the news feed on your screens.

Setting up the Integration

Before you can use the app in our DesignTool, you must set up the integration in Q-Play. 
  1. Log in to your Q-Play account and go to the Integrations page.
  2. Create a new integration - search for "Ziik" to find it quickly.
  3. Set your Ziik Intranet URL (example: yourcompany.ziik.io) and your user credentials. Q-Play will store these securely and never share them with anyone.
  4. Hit Save and then click the big "+" to add your first script.


  5. Set up the settings for your script, like how you want to sort the news we get from Ziik etc. Then hit Save again.



  6. Go back to the overview and hit "Run" on your new script.


  7. If the script works, it should run for a little while, then show a checkmark next to the script title.


That's it! You're now ready to move on to setting up the app in Q-Play.


Using the app in Q-Play Design Tool

Now that you've set up your integration, you're ready to start using it in your presentations and playlists.

  1. Start by going to your Presentations or Playlists in Q-Play.
  2. Then, find the "Ziik" app in the apps sidebar.
