Installation for Q-Play - Windows Quiet

Introduction

Q-Play offers a powerful platform for information screen design, enabling you to engage and inform your audience through visually appealing content. With the Windows QUIET-E Player, you can easily manage and present your content on any screen that supports HDMI input.

Before starting the installation, it's important to ensure you have all necessary components:


In the box:
  1. Windows Quiet-E player.
  2. Power cable
Not included:
  1. HDMI cable
  2. Network cable


Pre-installed Windows player

If you've purchased the Windows Quiet-E through one of our partners, Q-Play will already be installed on the player. If it's a player you've acquired yourself, follow this guide for the installation of the Q-Play software.

Recommendation:

    1. Placement: For optimal performance and ventilation, we recommend placing the Windows Quiet-E Player on top of the screen. Avoid placing it directly behind the screen to prevent overheating and potentially shortening the player's lifespan. Ensure the player is also easily accessible in case of network failures or HDMI signal issues.
    2. Internet Connection: For the most stable connection, using a network cable is recommended. WIFI is also an option on the device.

    If you prefer using WIFI, follow this guide for setting up WIFI on the Windows Quiet-E player.

    Before Installation

    Before the installation, it's important to be well-prepared. The following is necessary:
    1. Placement: Place the Quiet-E Player according to the recommendations.
    2. Internet: Choose between a wired connection or WIFI.

    During Installation

    Follow these steps for a smooth installation:

    1. Use the provided power cable to connect the Quiet-E Player and ensure it starts up correctly.
    2. Connect the player to a screen through an HDMI cable.
          3.a Select the correct HDMI port on your screen to display the content from the player
    4. The Q-Play software will automatically start up on the screen.

    To use WiFi on the device, follow this guide to set up WiFi on the Windows N2807 player:

    1. Press the F4 key on the keyboard to close Q-Play on the Windows Player.
          A. If the F-functions are locked, press the "FN" button and then "F4".

    2. Click on the "Globe Icon" in the bottom right corner.



    3. Select the desired network.


    4. Check the box next to "Connect Automatically".

    5. Click "Connect".
     
    6. Enter the network password and click "Continue".
          A. If correct, a WiFi icon appears, indicating the player is now online.
     

    7. Press the Windows key or navigate to the Windows icon in the bottom left corner, then type "Q-Play" in the search box to start Q-Play.
    8. Q-Play will then start up.

    After Installation

    Once the installation is complete, and you see a "connect code" on the screen, you're ready to link the player to your Q-Play account.



    To add a design to the screen, the following steps should be taken:
    1. Now log into the Q-Play account where the device needs to be added.
    2. Go to the player section.
    3. Enter the 6-digit Connect Code from the screen into Q-Play.
