When setting up an integration, it's important to consider which Schedule Type you want to use.

Schedule types explained


On-demand

Notes
On-demand will only refresh its content if it's actually being shown on a player (or in preview). Make sure your integration is actually being used if it doesn't update automatically.

When choosing "On-demand", you're choosing the most efficient schedule type we have to offer.  This schedule makes sure that content is only re-fetched after the given "Resource timeout" window has expired.

Example: An on-demand integration with a timeout of 1 hour will refresh once per hour. Meaning that content generated at 12 AM will not be refreshed until 1 AM

Scheduled

A Scheduled integration will force-run every time it hits the selected interval. We recommend using On-demand to avoid excessive report generation.
