Guide to Integrating PowerPoint from OneDrive into Q-Play



Welcome to this step-by-step guide that will help you display updated PowerPoint slides directly on your QPlay information screen. Follow these instructions for seamless integration, ensuring your presentation is always dynamic and up-to-date.

Before You Start

  1. Access Requirements: Check that you have access to both your OneDrive and QPlay account.
  2. Presentation Preparation: Your PowerPoint presentation should be ready on OneDrive.
  3. Link Security: Ensure the document is publicly accessible and shared with "Everyone - Share with everyone. It does not require you to log in."


Step 1: Optimize Your PowerPoint Presentation

1. Begin by opening your presentation in OneDrive.
2. Design separate slides for each display view. This is important as automatic shifting between slides is not supported inside Q-Play. Each slide should be a standalone display.

Step 2: Share Your PowerPoint Slide

1. Navigate to Files > Share > Share with people in PowerPoint.

2. Choose "Copy link" to generate and copy a link that provides access to your presentation.


Step 3: Integrate with Q-Play

1. Log into your QPlay account.
2. Locate and open the Office 365 PowerPoint app in your design inside Q-Play.
Click on Apps

3. Insert your copied link into the "Enter Office 365 embed code" field.
Click on Settings

Step 4: Adding More Slides

1. Use the "Plus button" in Q-Play to add additional slides.
2. Go back to OneDrive, select the next slide, copy the link, and repeat the integration process for each new slide.

Troubleshooting

  1. If slides do not automatically shift, ensure that the transition time is correctly set in the QPlay settings.
