Q-Play overview

Introduction

Q-Play is a cloud-based platform for managing and displaying dynamic content on digital screens. It enables you to create, schedule, and control content across multiple locations from a single dashboard. With our editor, you can create engaging content and discover how our dynamic apps can enhance your digital signage.

Q-Play is designed with a clear and intuitive navigation menu, making it easy to find your way around the system. In this section, we will introduce the main menu items and explain their purpose.

Users and teams

The Users section is located under Account Settings, which you can access by clicking your name in the top-right corner and selecting Account Settings from the drop-down menu. The Users page displays everyone who has access to your account. Each user is listed with their name, email address, assigned teams, authentication method, and the account that owns them.

The Teams section is also located under Account Settings, which you can access by clicking your name in the top-right corner and selecting Account Settings from the drop-down menu. The Teams page allows you to organize users into groups such as HR, Marketing, or Designers. From here, you can manage what each team is allowed to view and do within Q-Play.

Brand Assets

Q-Play allows you to upload brand assets to ensure your on-screen content aligns with your visual identity. In Brand Assets, you can upload your logo, define your primary brand colors, and add custom fonts.

Dashboard

The first thing you see after signing in is the Dashboard, which provides a quick overview of your digital signage solution.
From the Dashboard, you can quickly access your players, presentations, and the rest of the system's features.

Playlists

Playlists are presentations that can be embedded within another presentation. They allow you to display additional content while adding movement and variety to your presentations.

Presentations

Presentations are the core of your content in Q-Play. They define what is displayed on your screens and how your information is structured and presented.
They are similar to PowerPoint presentations but offer significantly greater flexibility and functionality.

Players

The Players page is where you manage all your physical and virtual devices.
A player is the device that runs Q-Play. This can be a System-on-Chip (SoC) display, such as an LG or Samsung screen, an external media player, or a web player running in any browser via a URL.

Media Library

The Media Library is the central location for all your media files. Everything uploaded here is available across all presentations and playlists in Q-Play.

Integrations

Q-Play allows you to connect and manage third-party applications.
See our wide range of third-party app integrations here.

Event Management

The Event Management section allows you to create and manage events.
